Palm Beach Virtual is proud to present LIVE Days.
Live Instruction and Virtual Enrichment.
Two days every month your teachers will be offering interactive lessons at the Virtual School office as well as field trips to enrich your virtual experience.
This is a great way to meet your teachers as well as fellow Palm Beach Virtual students!
Below are just a few of our up and coming field trip events. Complete dates, times, and registrations will be available once school starts in August.

Richard and Pat Johnson History Museum
Students will be introduced to the history of Palm Beach County through a docent led tour.

Jupiter Light House
Students will take a guided tour of the Jupiter Light House and Museum.

The Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens
Students will take a guided tour of the Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens

Grassy Waters Preserve
Students will paddle through the shallow waters of the marsh, then tour a cypress swamp by foot. Later we will enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake.

Peanut Island
Students will tour all portions of the Maritime Museum including the John F. Kennedy Bunker, the Coast Guard Station and Boat House. Later we will enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach.

In order to participate in a field trip, you must be a Palm Beach Virtual student and you must register online. Some events provide opportunities for parents of our virtual students to attend with their children.
For such events, all parents who attend must be registered with the District VIPS programs prior to the day of the trip. Parents may stop by the Palm Beach Virtual School office to complete this task.
At this time this task cannot be performed online. If the parent is a registered VIPS at another Palm Beach District public school, our offices must be contacted in order to have your VIPS registration transferred to our school database, prior to the day of the trip. Siblings/other children who are not our virtual students may not accompany us on these trips.

Earth Day 2010
at the Science Museum!
Middle School Science students and parents were invited to the Science Museum to celebrate Earth Day. Then, at noon we went to Nitromania!, an educational program that shows just how "cool" science can be by demonstrating the physical properties of water and nitrogen. After the program, there was be time to explore the Science Museum with a parent or guardian.
This trip was for students and parents.
